Who can take part?
Large and small
Solidaritest looks at the size and potential of your business. Any Belgian business may enter the Solidaritest competition, no matter how big their turnover or the number of people they employ. Any business can win: be they a multinational or a small to medium-sized enterprise.
Open to all
The competition is open to all sectors: automobile, transport, energy, building and construction, industry, catering, pharmaceuticals, banking and insurance, tourism, wholesale, telecommunications, media, and so on… The only proviso is that their business activities do not run contrary to the values of the Red Cross.
The competition is not open to NGOs or companies/organisations whose activities relate exclusively to social solidarity.
Belgian businesses or divisions
Solidaritest measures initiatives taken by Belgian businesses or the Belgian divisions of international companies. Thus, the parent companies of Belgian subsidiaries are not permitted to take part.
Inspiring examples
There are several ways to help your business contribute to the welfare of socially disadvantaged groups. Financial donations, provision of services, products or personnel... Would you like to enter your company, but are not entirely sure what a social solidarity project is? See some of the initiatives taken by previous participants. This might inspire and encourage you to enter for the sixth awards in 2012.
