Forum Ethibel
Forum Ethibel supports ‘Socially Responsible Investment’ (SRI) in Belgium and Europe. To this end, Forum Ethibel encourages dialogue between industry, government, unions, NGOs and investors, whom it sees as stakeholders. The collective search for the right balance between economic progress, environmental protection and social justice constitutes the nucleus of ‘Socially Responsible Enterprise’ (SRE). To set investors on the road to ‘sustainable investments’, Forum Ethibel has developed several specific tools and a European mark of quality. The criteria for the socio-ethical company appraisal, which lies at the basis of the quality mark, cover all aspects of SRE.
Luc Van Liedekerke is chairman of the Ethibel register committee. He holds the position of president of the Solidaritest jury. Herwig Peeters is the director of Forum Ethibel and also sits on the jury.
